Question 1

How is the grade of your PMG note determined?

Accepted Answer

PMG evaluates each note using a detailed process that examines centering, edges, paper quality, ink, and any signs of wear, damage, or handling. The final grade reflects its overall preservation and collectibility, helping collectors quickly understand a note’s quality. Higher-graded notes often hold greater investment potential, making grading a key factor for serious collectors.

Question 2

Can I verify a PMG graded note I purchase?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every PMG graded note comes with a unique certification number printed on its holder. You can easily verify its authenticity through PMG’s official online database. This added layer of verification ensures you are purchasing a genuine, high-quality collectible, giving peace of mind for both new and experienced collectors.

Question 3

Are PMG graded notes suitable for new collectors?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. PMG graded notes are ideal for beginners because each note includes a clear grade and certification that explains its condition and authenticity. This transparency makes it easier for new collectors to confidently start a collection while also providing seasoned collectors with verified pieces to expand their portfolios.

Question 4

How should I store or display my PMG graded notes?

Accepted Answer

Each PMG graded note comes encapsulated in a tamper-evident holder designed to protect it from handling, environmental damage, and natural wear. For optimal preservation, keep notes out of direct sunlight, avoid humid areas, and handle them minimally. Displaying them in a secure frame or collection case can both showcase your collection beautifully and maintain its long-term value.
